Could you tell me what the model number of your screen is in the Dell Inspiron 6400 / E1505?

I got a 6400 from the Outlet and it came with an AU Optronics AUO2077. This screen is notorious for been grainy. When I search for AUO2077 + Grainy on Google I get lots of results but mainly with Vostros and none with Inspirons.

    To find out:

Control Panal > System > Hardware Tab > Device Manager > Open Monitor Plus Sign > Right Click Plug and Play Monitor > Details Tab > Pull Down Menu > Select Hardware ids.

    thanks
