    As long as you have a dell xp sp2 reinstall cd it should install no problem (and it shouldnt ask you for a key). Just make sure you have the right xp sp2 drivers

    If you've lost your XP Pro Dell Branded reinstall CD, I found a cheap place to get them:

    This is for the CD only, no key, box, etc.>> $28.95 But if you still have your key (or maybe not since it's "Dell Branded") you can use this to reinstall/restore your XP OS.
