    Install windows server 2003 and windows vista in the same laptop?

    Hi guys. I m using Inpiron 1525 with windows vista home premium I want to install Share Point . So, i need to know can i install windows server 2003 in the same laptop. I have partitoined my Laptop in to C, D and E drives, now i installed Vista in C:\ drive is it posible to install windows server 2003 in D:\ drive? Suppose if i install like tht it will cause any problem? . Thank you all

    Vista uses a new boot loader, so install Windows Server 2003 first, then install Vista. You'll then get a boot menu that offers you Vista or "previous version", just like if you had dual boot XP and Vista. Simple as that.

    Why don't you just use MS Virtual PC?

    It should not cause any problems. It should work just as well as any other dual-boot configuration. Make sure you install Server 2003 before Vista; the Server 2003 bootloader most likely won't recognize the newer OS. You may also have a hard time finding drivers for some versions of Server 2003.

    ya i partition the hard disc into 3 drives in c:\ drive first i installed server 2003 and in D:\ drive i installed vista..
