My d630 came with vista basic and I am trying to install my own copy of Vista Business but there are some issues..
During the initial install it seems ok.

But when it starts to boot for the first time to complete the install, it bluescreens.
    The error includes: stop: 0x0000007b
It doesn't point to system files, it says to check your harddrive to make sure it is orperly configured and terminated. Run chkdsk /f to check for harddrive corruptioon then start your computer.

Safe mode works but it won't let me do anythign because vista wants to go into normal boot for the first time.
Safe mode with command prompt gives me the auto restart..

I ran the dell diagnostic to see if its a HD issue and all tests passed so its not the HD.

    Can anyone help??
