I followed the guide to install mediadirect 2.0 on a new hdd, by first installing windows with 2048mb of unallocated space, then installing mediadirect. Problem is, I realized I have the mediadirect 3.3 cd, and it requires you to used mediadirect to format/partition your drive, then install windows...

Installing mediadirect through windows results in an error message about the hard drive not being set up correctly, of course.

Any way to install MediaDirect after installing windows? I've still got that unallocated space sitting there...

Media Direct requires special partitioning to install correctly, it probably differs from 2.0 to 3.3 and that is your problem. Media Direct versions below 4.0 can only be installed by a format and reinstall.
