I've got an Xps 1710, which i formatted and wiped all partitions on recieving it ( it has 85 processes at startup!)

When i installed vista again, and tried to install the resource cd, it kepy telling me a DLL was missing. Im at work- and i cant rememeber the DLL, but I did google it and i tried registering the dll, re-downloading it and re-registering it, but to no avail. I read some where it is a VB 6 problem with Vista.

Has anyone had this problem before? And is there a fix for it.
I ended up installing win xp, cause my work programs didnt even work on vista :(
