I know the 1737 can take dual drives SATA 2.

My question is can I install this drive into my 1737? Any of these

What I want to do is install my OS Vista 64-bit onto it and and run off the SSD. And of course increase performance in a big way over a 5400rpm drive the 1737 came with. And save on battery life in a big way, since the SSD is so low voltage.

the first card you link to is NOT a SATA SSD drive. It's an Expresscard memory card (plugs into the side of the 1737).

The Second card can be used as a spare SATA drive (or even replace your current Hard Drive). If you purchase this one, I would suggest using it to host your Operating System... and use your current Hard Drive to hold your data AND your Pagefile/Swapfile. - The Read speeds seem ok, but write speeds on SSD drives are not that great at all.

As for the 3rd one - it looks like the read/write speeds on it are fairly slow - so I would recommend getting a 7200rpm Hard Drive instead, or perhaps the SSD drive above (2nd on your list)...

Did you even look at what you posted? The first one is an Express Card, the second one is something you could use, and the third is a PCIe drive. They aren't all even the same interface. If you want a good SSD I'd try the Intel drive. The OCZ ones aren't too bad, the newer ones seem to be better. You would be better off looking at the SSD thread in the Components and Upgrade forum.
