Hey guys,
As the title says I wan to install Win XP Pro on my new E1505/6400 and at the same time dont want to loose the Dell Media Connect feature. Have anyone done that?
Any thoughts about this?
Thanks
PS: I need Win XP pro because i need to connect to a domain at work and thats not possible with Win XP Media Center Edition.

Should be same as MCE.... Install Windows in the same partition as the original operating system leaving the Dell Utility partition [~40MB] in place. After you've got Windows done, then run the MediaDirect Repair Utility.
Be aware that attempting to use MediaDirect from within Windows will not work as you do not have Microsoft Media Center installed. You may want to explore getting Dell Media Experience if that similar capability is something you want to retain. MediaDirect from Power OFF should be fine after the repair and using Pro should have no adverse impact.
