    hello!

    i would like to know if theres a way to install a usb bluetooth dogle into the built-in bluetooth slot in my dell notebook? if it can be done could someone pls post the instructions? your help is much appreciated. thanks!

    Ill get a mod to move this at the Dell section. They should be able to help you better for your specific laptop

    btw, Why didnt you just purchase the built-in BT module?

    At one point you used to be able to buy the BT module from Dell's spare parts and just plug it into the board. Barring that, I would go and buy an external USB; I don't think it has an internal port.

    it was a mistake at my part during the online purchase..now i found out theres a empty compartment beneath the battery slot. user manual states that its for the bluetooth module. i was wondering if theres a way to use that slot for a usb dogle? it surely will help saves me a couple of bucks purchasing a new one frm dell :)
