    Hello,

For those who have nothing to do like me, here is a very mini-guide how to install winxp x64 in Inspiron 1420. I just installed it and wanted to share with you guys.

    Preliminary step.

Insert AHCPI drivers in the disk

    1) Incorporate to your winxp x64 cd, the ahcpi drivers from Intel using nlite software. I will not go in details how to incorporate but just give you the direct link to the driver.

You need to uncompress the drivers and incorporate in the new iso. Open DOS window type iata89enu.exe -a in a DOS windows at the folder where the file is downloaded. Then incorporate the extracted drivers in nlite.

    Drivers in casual order
