Are there any instructions including pictures on how to replace my keyboard? Do I have to open up my whole laptop just to do this?

Or if you go to support.dell.com and punch in your service tag you can get the service manual.

The Studio have traditionally never been terribly difficult. Just be careful removing the center control cover as it is very thin plastic and easily snaps.

There are 3 screws you need to remove from under the laptop. One of these is located under the laptops main battery and is smaller in size than the other 2.The other 2 should have D located at the screw hole.

Once those screws are removed you just need to pop the keyboard trim off. Then remove the 2 screws that hold the keyboard down and your there.
