    Integrated webcam XPS M1210

    I just got the notebook few days ago. Using MSN, I am able to transmit pictures via the webcam however I am not able to receive.
    Any idea what could be the problem.

    maybe the other person you are talking to doesnt have a webcam? or you arent clicking on the right "video call" option

    The other person has a webcam and has tried both options; windows messenger and skype but still does not work

    I don't see how this has anything to do with your camera. The problem is at the other end. Looks to me like the other person's camera or the messenger program is not properly set up. Did you ask that person whether anyone else can see his/her video?
