I am trying to install an Intel WiFi Link 6200 Centrino Advanced-N Mini Card into my wife's Inspiron M5030.
When I first installed it, it was recognised and installed the drivers, however after restarting it can no longer find it and doesn't even show up in the device manager.
I have exchanged the card, so I know it is not that. It is replacing an Atheros.
    Anybody any ideas?

    Maybe your connection is loose.

I'm wondering if it's a compatibility issue, the laptop has a AMD processor.
