    tried to search and coulnt find exactly what i needed to know-can anyone tell me--which processor is better ? Intel® Core™ 2 Duo T7100 (1.8GHz/800Mhz) or AMD Turion™ 64 X2 Mobile Technology TL-60 (1MB/2.0GHz),
    I can get either one of these for the same price..

    I have a turion now. I won't buy it again b/c of the battery life

    I don't even consider AMD to be INTEL's competitor. They are only following what INTEL does and doing it the wrong way just to be different.

    It switches off which company has the better cpu's at different times.
    right now its intel. before the core 2 duo, it was AMD.
    The intel is the best cpu for now.
