On my dell xps m1530 i did a clean install of vista to see if it would help, it didn't. Anyways, i was listening to some music and decided to turn the volume down to 0, and guess what i can still hear some music, this is deffinately messed up. I tried looking at all my sound option and set everything to low and i could still hear music at 0 volume level. Weird stuff for sure.

edit: i also can't seem to install the sigmatel driver, it says that the device is missing.

Restart the computer and try again to install sigmatel driver.
