First of all, for all those who were sad about the 7200rpm HDs, they are back.
Secondly, its interesting that Dell is offering 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM with the I6400 on their Indain site.
Also on the Indian site there are some cheap upgrades available.
For eg.
2GB 2 Dimm 667MHz DDR2 = $280 (2GB 2 DIMM 533MHZ DDR2 = $375 ,on US site)
100GB 7200rpm SATA Hard Drive = $215 ($365 on US site)
Finally,
256MB ATI MOBILITY™ RADEON® X1400 HyperMemory™ = $18 ($80, from X1300 to X1400 on US site)
Even though the final price of the system was $400 higher than the E1505 I ordered last week, its strange how Dell pricing is different from region to region.

You should look at dell australia
you could buy a laptop for what they charge just for 2 or 3 components.

FYI,
2,923.00 AUD Australia Dollars = 2,093.31 USD United States Dollars
Its the same thing in the end. A $400 increase when compared with $1650 for my E1505. -
