How many of you decked your lappies out with dedicated graphics? And for those who play games with the integrated cards, is it any good?!

i would imagine it would depend on the type of game and the settings. If your playing fps with high detail and aa then dedicated. if your playing lower intensity games, or older games with lower detail then integrated my be for you.

I think the 8600gt ddr3 is perfect for the gaming I do. I can run Crysis at 1200x800 on med-high settings running very smoothly. And thats the most demanding game out there. Every thing else I run I high-Ultra without a problem.

I had the X700 radeon (just ordered a new laptop, 8600M gt of course :D) and with a MERE 256 mb ram I could play oblivion (outside of the main city) and it worked smoothly, even when fighting multiple creatures.
