I bought a Dell Inspiron 15R about 6 months ago. I am not sure whether it had international warranty. Mostly it did not. I will be going out of the country. How do I purchase the international warranty?
    Thanks

You will have to change your warranty to the new country (by filling out a warranty transfer form - it takes about 15 days to take effect in new country)

Do check with dell support though - they are quite helpful!

i dont think he needs to wait 15 days before actually leaving his country - simply apply and take to desired country.
