Does it just depend on luck or what?

I ordered a pretty loaded 1720 for $1322 shipped. A few people on here ask me about my order and I tell them, but they say the notebook cost more. So I go and build it all over again (starting with the $1119 1720) and it does infact end up like $300 more than when I ordered it 5 hours ago, lol.

I knew it seemed weird for my 1720 to be LESS than the 1520, but ohh well haha.

Also noticed with the colors they are all the same price, but sometimes black is $20 less.

Yes, I searched the dell.com/directstore and just purchased my 1720 w/T7300 2.0 GHZ for $1251 2 day shipping and taxes combined. That site let me play with the options more than the main dell website so I deleted options I wouldn't need (antivirus, webcam) while still keeping the 8600 GT, extended battery, etc. Gotta say, can't complain about that price one bit!!!
