If you order through dells EPP program do you get better customer service than standard customer service?

    Thanks

    Hey!

When, I first ordered my 1530 I made the mistake of purchasing thru the local Dell Kiosk, as they stated they would would beat my EPP pricing. Wrong..so wrong.. :( Well, I got that order canceled promptly and ordered thru EPP, like I should have, and the treatment I received was 110% better (though I never factually ordered thru Customer Care).

I think the EPP Program is pretty awesome (I deal with the same Rep all the time), so I am used to great Customer Service. I also think that you can get great Customer Service thru the Reps at dell.com. It all depends on the Rep you get, and how they want to treat you, as a customer.

I have heard great feedback on both here on the forum, and thru word of mouth, likewise. I think with EPP you get a bit more of personalized service..but that's just my own opinion....

Sure, I may expect good service, but that doesn't guarantee that it's what I'll get. For that matter, these days I can't even honestly say that I expect good service. I legitimately expect to get transferred to at least 20 ignorant people every time I call.

I guess I expect to *good service*, and remain positive each time I call. I remember I am the customer, and they are who I am purchasing from, they are selling to me...and servicing me..and they should be making me happy.

But, I have also had call's with Dell Reps that haven't been 100% pleasant..and I have simply call them out on their attitude..and taken that to another level for resolve.

EPP Reps have been been nicer, though.
