Hi guys, I've searched the forum and in almost every post I found, it is stated that the graphics card in laptops cannot be upgraded.
While I was getting the HD cage to add an additional HD in my 1720,{Past tense now} I noticed that Dell is selling Refurbished: 256 MB nVidia G84 Graphics cards for $139.00.
Now have things changed with the 1720 in such a way so that you can now upgrade your graphics card??????
I presently have the 128MB Nvidia installed.
DELL

if you do not have integrated graphics in your laptop you can upgrade your graphics card IF dell specifically made that card for your laptop and put it in that model. like you could upgrade an 8400gs to an 8600gt if you bought the one specifically made for that laptop.

Good to know I will have that option, if I ever decide that I need it.
Is Upgrading the Graphics card Possible in 1720 ????
