When I looked at a Latitude D630 the other day, the AGN option added about 12 days to the ESD, I believe. So it seems it may be true.

I know I ordered my 1420 on 8/23 with the Intel wireless N and its no longer an option anymore.

Maybe supply was too low? I called yesterday to check the progress and the wireless N was not a factor slowing anything down. ESD is still 9/19.

Yeah, the N draft cards are causing delays... I wanted to go with an Intel card, but I went with the Dell 1505 b/g/n instead... It delayed my order 5 days I think, I received my laptop this afternoon, ordered on August 16th...

I'm not even using the N feature yet, but I am now using 802.11g and it's plenty fast for me... :) Handles my 30mbit/5mbit cable connection fine with my new Latitude D830... Prior to this, I only had 802.11b on my desktop.
