    Hi,
Does anyone here use the Inspiron 6000 for graphics editing? I design websites about 12 hours daily, and I'd like to know if the Inspiron 6000 can handle that.

Are there heat issues when using this model for hours and hours?

Is the screen suitable for graphics work? I've heard it is dim, and outdoors barely viewable.

I'd really like to hear opinions from other web designers about this model if possible, but all advice is appreciated.

    Thanks.

If you want to use it outside, you should consider a laptop with a glossy screen like the Fujitsu s6231, Compaq v2000 or Acer Aspire 1680. Oe with a Pentium M CPU would be a good idea since they run much cooler than AMD or Pentium 4s. If you are just cropping and editing photos an integrated card should suffice. Good Luck.

I was robbed by a sweet little old lady on a motorized cart and I didn't even see it coming.
