I'm just curious if anything is currently on delay. I've been noticing that a bunch of people are receiving their laptops now and It's made me excited! I move up to school on the 20th of this month but don't actually start until the 27th...any bets I will see this thing at my doorstep sometime soon?

The expresscard sound card will delay your ship. You probably should have bought that (and the thumbdrive) separately.

The Midnight Blue is on delay, but I think you are asking if it'll be delayed beyond the ESD...and it shouldn't. The ESD takes into account the current delay when you are ordering - however anything is possible. Your best bet would most likely call your sales rep and ask about it

I wouldn't risk anything on the ESD given by Dell right now. They gave me an ESD of 7-30 and then it got delayed to 8-6 and then 8-28. I cancelled my order when it delayed it for another 3 weeks and ordered an Asus. But yes, the midnight blue cover is on delay though.

I thought I read somewhere that they just received a new shipment of midnight blue.
and Panda you are probably very correct... it was the thought of having the laptop without a sound card or JUST a sound card that strayed me away from that path. -
I ordered that Express sound card along with my 1520 too. But when I check the order online the 1520 has a different order number than the Express card and the ship date is also listed separately. I wonder if that means they will ship in different boxes.

Is anything I ordered currently on delay?
