    I am just about to buy a e1705, but before I do I thought I would ask if anyone knew if Dell was planning on introducing anything new in the month or so.

    Like most people, I hate buying a laptop (or any technology for matter) when weeks later something new is introduced.

    Does anyone have any inside info on whether Dell is planning anything new right after Christmas or New Years?

    Hopefully a Latitude D625 with a better screen for those that really hate the D620 screen? Unlikely though, what with the long product cycles of the Latitudes.

    Raises the question; why was there a D505, but no D405, D605 or D805?

    my guess would be nothing major untill mid to late first quarter,(jan-april)when somthing is a month or so away, you hear about it all over the web
