Now almost daily the offer on the Dell website to buy an Inspiron 17R SE is changing and also they came out with new version of the Inspiron 17R; should we expect a new version very soon?

I thought the new versions announced at CES were already on sale: 3rd gen Intel chips?

They announced a new version at the CES? Any link to that news? I mean the 17R Special Edition, not the Inspiron 17 or Inspiron 17R.

I doubt there will be an real update before intel haswell arrives in the summer, probably just minor CPU changes. Doesn't make sence to update it now, no new CPU or GPU's yet. New GPU's so far are just renamings of last years GPUs (AMD HD8000 series and Nvidia GT730M etc are just renamed GPUs from last year).

Thank goodness, mine has just shipped, so I would hate it to be out of date within a few months. :-(
