    Is dell working on a notebook with a 8800 card?

    it seems like they are in love with the 8600 gt card......the new alienware m15x has a 8800gtx card (its 15.4 inch size) and is only 7-8 lbs. Not bulky at all. In fact, I am considering getting this laptop because I am a gamer and it doesn't seem like dell is going to upgrade their cards anytime soon....if they do, it will be for the 1730 which weighs 20lbs :D

    Reportedly they are only upgrading the M1730, but there is also the 17" precision model which is supposed to come out with the 8800GTX.

    Precision doesn't use Geforce cards mate. the Precision line will have to wait for a workstation version of the 8800GTX to come out.
