    Is inspiron 630m the same as XPS m140?

    I have never heard of the 630m. Or was it a typo? Anyway, there will probaly be no computer excactly like M140.

    Same machine, different name. In Canada, we only have the 630M. In the US Dell calls it M140 for home and home office and 630M for small business. There may be slight config. differences but the base machine, gpu etc... are the same.

    Yes, it's very similar, I believe there are some minro config differences, but as noted it shows up on teh DSB site now, no word as to whether or not it will show up on the home site. Very confusing really, Dell needs to clean up their product lines.

    Same machine exactly, it is just marketed as an XPS in the USA Dell Home section because of the "high end" support that comes with the XPS premium line.

    Edit: I know b/c I called and asked. Since Small Business customers already get better support than Home customers, no need for the XPS badging.
