Hey guys I'm looking for a cheap Dell laptop. My friend recommended me this site Cheap Laptop. It seems very nice and I'm intrested in two models : used 630 and used 610. What do you think? I'm gonna use this laptop for gaming mostly. Cheers.

Never heard of this website before, though to be honest, you're not going to be playing anything remotely new on a D630 or D610. Those are several years (several generations) old and by today's standards have extremely weak graphics.

What games do you plan on playing, and what is your budget?

Extremely overpriced for what you are getting. Not sure what their value-add is. You can get used D610s and D630s on eBay for half of what they are charging.

I use a D600 daily at my desk for light work and I have a D610 and D820 at home. They all have the better resolution screens and discrete video chips. They are good for light surfing, MS Office basic work, and can stream Netflix and such. No games. The D610 maxes out at 2GB of memory. I have Win7 on it but can't use Aero display. Biggest reason for posting is to warn you about purchasing used Dell D630, D830, D620, and D820 notebooks with the Nvidia video chip. Get one with the Intel video chipset. There are a lot of those notebooks showing up on the internet now. My D820 with the Nvidia chip failed last year and had a reman board installed under extended warranty and now it is failing again.
