    Is it normal for the screen to turn off when the battery is low??

    I was using my computer at my parents house on their network (E1505) and it told me that the battery was low (24 minutes left, 10% level). Then about 5 minutes later my screen just turned off. All of the lights were still on, but the screen just turned off.

    I plugged it in and it booted right back up. So I know it works still.


    I just to make sure this is normal.

    Yes this is normal. When the battery gets so low, the screen turns off. I believe (I'm at work using a desktop) that you can change this to not happen in the power options in the control panel.

    You could also adjust the power settings to determine how you would like your machine to respond when you're low on batt. giving you a pop warning msg that battery power is low
