    Is it normal to still be processing order after a week?

    Hello,

    I ordered a m1330 last week and 7 days later the status is still Order processing.

    I am paying in the usual manner and the cash is waiting to be taken.

    Is this unusual; might it mean a delay to me delivery? The CS have been no help.

    I ordered an M1530 on Sunday and it was listed as "In Production" right after I got the confirming phone call from Dell on Monday morning.

    I ordered an Inspiron 1420 on December 3, and it moved into production on December 4, so there may be a problem with your order. One possibility: I ordered a Dell system several years ago using a debit card with a daily spending limit. The purchase amount exceeded the daily spending limit, so I had to contact my bank to authorize the transaction before Dell could process payment. I'm fairly confident Dell won't release an order to the factory floor until it verifies payment, so you may want to check with your bank. Good luck!

    My Vostro 1500 did that exact same thing..but it turned out it was never actually received, but billing got enough info to charge me :(
    They moved my ESD up 2 weeks too.
