I know it is possible to boot from a slipstreamed CD, but is it possible to boot from a USB? I've read some guides, and it is possible to boot desktops from USBs, but I was wondering if it was any different for laptops (Dells). Thanks in advance.

Edit: I mean uninstalling Vista and installing XP from a USB key.
