    Is it possible to Overclock the CPU?

    I know you can overclock the GPU in a graphics card but can the INTEL CPU be overclocked with software? If so, let me know what that is. Thanks

    usually the best way to overclock is through the BIOS. But dell has been known to "lock" the option to overclock through the BIOS (atleast this is true for PCs from Dell)

    Yep, dell locks it. There really isn't a need to overclock the CPU anyways.

    core2duo is already pretty darned fast for current applications and games..and dell does lock the bios so the customer cant get anything more than they paid for lmao
