Hi, I was wondering if it's safe to remove the wireless card and not putting anything inside there?
I have a firewire soundcard that was keep on getting pops and clicks on the audio, which completely disappeared after I removed the Dell wireless card.
I definitely don't want to go back to that nightmare(disabling the wireless card/connection doesn't really kill it so that's not an option) so is it ok to keep that area blank/empty(there are two antenna cables hanging)?

Yes, it is fine to take out the card.

Those antenna cables are coming from the screen, (the antennas are in the lid of the screen). Just leave those there. .
