    Is it worth $143 (T5550 to T7250)?

Is it worth upgrading from T5550 to T7250 for US$114?

It's Dell XPS M1330. It will not be used for high-end 3D gaming, or 3D/codec editing. Just for normal office, DVD watching and so on. A non-computer-professional girl's notebook.

    Need advise quickly!

Probably not, though you might want to think about what the PC will be doing two or three years from now. If it will still be doing the same thing, then the $143 probably isn't worth it for you.

    Oh, sorry, it's $114...

The question would be: Is it worth $114 for upgrading T5550 to T7250?

Just found that FSB of T5550 is 667MHz and T7250 is 800Mhz.

    The memory is 2GB (2x1024) 667MHz dual-channel DDR2 SDRAM.

Does it mean that there is a waste of CPU speed if it's T7250 (800Mhz)?

I think FSB is not very important for Intel's CPUs.

FSB needn't to be equal to memory‘s frequency exactly.

The only difference between them is the frequency of 0.17Ghz,and it doesn't cost $114,you can buy T5550 and overclock yourself.

Doesn't Blu-Ray playback require a 2 gHz or faster processor?
