When I go to device manager, it says generic PnP.
-
bump......
-
go to control panel -> device manager -> monitor -> double click 'generic pnp monitor' and open the details tab. under properties scroll to hardware id. the actually model number is listed there as MONITOR\xxxxxxx (xxxxxxx being the id). a google search of the id should give you the screen type or post back here and im sure someone will tell you
-
Mines SEC.
-
thats a samsung you should consider yourself lucky..
-
It's grainy though. At least it looks sparkly, but I don't even know. It looks sparklyish on white screens.
-
what type is it... whats the res on it
-
1680x1050 .
-
those seem to be inherently more grainy then the 900 or 800 res screens... depends how bad it is...
-
we may be able to give you a better idea if you post some close up high res screen shots of it with a good camera...
-
tried to take some, the grainyness didn't show up on the pics.
Is my screen the old one?
