    I know the 9 cell sticks out, but is the 6 cell flush with the computer?

    98% of laptops 6 cell is standard and does not stick out and is flush with the laptop. However ocellaris is right, it would be nice to know what lappy you are refering to.

    Actually, I thought that the 1520's and 1420 inspiron's 6 cell batteries were flush. 9 cells were not.

    6 cell m1330 is flush. I can confirm that personally.
