the American 3yr warranty is great - haven't had any issues.

And if you plan on doing light gaming you'd be fine.

I can pull off LOTRO at high settings and be fine :)

if you dont plan on doing anything graphically intensive then the intel X3100 would be fine. :)

I believe that the 8400M GS is NOT worth it. Just get the X3100 or go for the 8600M GT if it is an option. Otherwise if you're even considering an 8400, then trust me you're not a graphics power user by any means and should just get the Intel. 8400M GS is weak and hardly any better, so NO not worth it.

    Seriously?
The 8400 is way better than X3100, especially when overclocked, and some guys have posted results on here of their overclockings of the 8400 and it can get up there.

Anyways, anyone buying a laptop other than a full blown gaming notebook from a company like Sager or the like could be considered to not be a graphics power user, or so say the guys who have desktops with SLI 8800's and quad core Intels and paid the same for those rigs as those guys with a 17" lappie with only a 8600 in it.
