    Is the Inspiron 15R SE Backlit Keyboard and Vostro 131 compatible?
    Is it also compatible with Vostro 3500, Dell 702X backlit keyboard?

    Hi,

    According to the design and referring to the part numbers, the backlit Keyboard for Inspiron 15r SE (7520) seems to be not compatible with Vostro V131, Vostro 3500 and XPS L702X.

    The Vostro 3550 and V313 backlit keyboards are compatible to each other (Dell part number: PVDG3) however, these are not compatible with Inspiron 15R SE.

    i see that you are expert so i will ask here

    my question is if backlit keyboard from dell N5040 or N5050 or xps x 502x is compatibla with 15r SE (7520)

    New Dell XPS 15 L502X US Keyboard Backlit | eBay

    This is backlited keyboard for L502x

    It look exsacly same to mine keyboard and it have same cables

    And i have these extra port on board for these little orange cable for lights

    So i dont know if these product will work with me?

    Or witch product will work with my laptpo??

    I have called Dell support today(I'm in UK) my findings were,
    No stock of backlit or standard 15r SE keyboards
    Got put through to xps team next and no compatability with any system
    Next was Vostro team same again no
    Compatibility
    I guess I'm stuck with no backlit.

    You are not stuck.
    I think the inspiron 14z and 15z ultrabook are the same as this as well as the L502X and N411z
