Is the bottom right hand corner of your WSXGA screen darker?

I just got my new Dell laptop with a 15.4" WSXGA screen and Windows XP Pro. I noticed on the bottom right hand corner of the screen, right by where the time is displayed that it's actually a bit darker there, about the sime of where it says 'AM' or 'PM'. It's not dead pixels because if you put your mouse cursor over it you can see your mouse cursor, but you can notice that the bright white mouse cursor turns to a more dirty or sorta grey-white color in the bottom right hand corner of the screen.

I checked my other IBM laptop which also has a 15.4" WSXGA screen and it ALSO has this small darker area in the bottom right corner. The dell is a bit less noticable than it is on the T61P...

is this something I should send the laptop back to get fixed? it appears that this little bottom right hand corner of the lcd isn't getting backlight the same as the rest of the screen..

    thanks
