I think my camera is a little broken. Can anyone take a picture with their camera and post it for comparison?

It seems grainier than it should be. The 1.3 megapixel camera on my phone takes much clearer shots.

Also, has anyone notice their battery moving around slightly?

Wow, I think there is something wrong with your camera. This is the Levono V100 review. There is a picture taken by the XPS 1210's camera in it, comparing it to the V100s, check it out. It's not nearly that grainy. It would be interesting to here from other XPS 1210 owners to confirm this.

Yeah, I agree - something does look wrong. Do you have the drivers installed? Can you change the settings somewhere?

Sorry I don't know much about the integrated cameras, but I would start with those two places.

Mabey use a smaller resolution, see if that would help. It is only a 1.3 mp camera.

It's not broken. I have the XPS M1210 and the camera is not that flattering.
It is only a 1.3 megapixel webcam.

You can fiddle with the camera settings to get it to look better than that though. Go to the camera settings and select the "Low Light Boost."

You're right, I did fiddle with it and it's much better. When I was on my way to work on the train in bright light the pictures are really clear. I guess the camera is just horrible in lower light. My room had three lamps and an overhead on so I thought that would be enough :(
