I just upgraded my Inspiron Laptop 1720 to run Win 7 x64, but in the process, lost the ability to use the button for windows media and all the other quickset apps. Has Dell a driver to replace the 32 bit one that came with the machine and windows vista?

Yes, there is. Believe it or not, the Inspiron 1750 or any other newer Dells that came with an Win7 x64 versions, the quickset software will work on the 1720. It has a better GUI as well and works flawlessly. Tried and tested on my 1720.
