I already did a search on the forum and skimmed the first few pages. The closest I got was "how do I replace ram" which is basically right underneath the laptop.

Is there a manual for complete disassembly of the vostro 1500 so I can apply as5 onto the cpu/gpu? Thanks!

Ridiculously fast responses from all of you! RIDICULOUS! If only customer support was this good.

I'm actually doing this for a friend's laptop, who says her gpu is about 58C while running world of warcraft. My actual laptop is a gateway P6831fx. Specs are all stock, but to keep things simple it's got a T5450, 3 gigs of ram, 250gig hd, 8800gts 512mb, 17 inch screen 1440x900 native, intel wireless 4965 agn. Got it when it was on sale for $1199.

Ok enough bragging about my laptop. I'll let you know how the temps are after I apply the as5.
