I've never worked with partitions before but I am curious. I was planning on deleting the media direct partition but keeping the recovery partition. Is this possible?

My goal, is to boot ubuntu via media direct button (I remember seeing a topic about this). I don't mind not having media direct though.

I'm not sure if I'll follow through, but I am curious if this is possible after some decision making on my part.
