Yes the E1705 has a dedicated 7800 go graphics card with 256mb dedicated memory. This is not the same as teh 7800GTX go card in the M170 though.

I Ordered the 6000 today and had a change of heart about a hour later and called dell to cancel. I said that I had decided to wait till the E1505 got its ATI card avaible. Then i asked if I purchaced the E1505 would I be able to upgrade to the ATI card once it came out later this month and the reply was "don't bother ordering the E1505 at this time then because you will want to just wait till next week" hmmmm.... sound like that would be a hint. Of course english was his second language but why else would he have said that?

That's pretty much up to you. The wait time is still up in the air, it can be anywhere from a week to a couple months. If you have any interest in gaming though, I would DEFINITELY wait if I were you. That's just my opinion

If you look in the "Notebook & Tech Bargains" tread, I poasted there... The E1505 is less then $700. When the X1400 comes out for the E1505 then for no more then $100-$150 you could upgrade to the X1400 dedicated card! So It would be like $800 for a Core Duo notebook with a dedicated card. Although the X1400 isn't the best card, but It will run most newer games fine, at medium settings.

Just to clarify, if you buy an E1505 now with integrated video, you WILL NOT be able to upgraded to the X1400 when it comes out. You have to buy the E1505 with that option, otherwise your motherboard will not have the slot for the card.
