Is there likely to be another new Studio 17 this year?

Intel doesn't look to be releasing Sandy Bridge until next year. I don't know Dell's policy/history with regards to releasing new machines without a new platform. I'm specifically looking for two features not in the 1747 or 1749 - an mSATA port for a small system/application SSD that doesn't waste a hard drive slot, and a USB 3 port (yes, I know I can add one via the ExpressCard slot but it sticks out).

Since I'm not in a hurry I could wait if they're likely to do this at some point this summer but if they're not there's really not much point in waiting beyond the point where they (finally) get the FHD screens back in stock since I can get by without those two features (but not without FHD), albeit slightly less happily.

Anyone have some insight into Dell's history on between-platform releases?
