Dell's website is pretty vague, and offers little information for this. I ordered a Dell Studio 1749 and customized it [I don't believe I picked anything that would delay my order] and picked 3-5 day economy shipping. It has been "In Production" for 10-11 days now with no movement and the Dell website says 10 days is max. The estimated delivery date is June 4th. Do you think this is at all realistic, or do you think it will be delayed for an obscene amount of time like most Dell orders are?
Obviously, I should wait it out, but, I'm a bit nervous and want to hear other peoples opinions. I've tried Dell Customer Support, and although were fast in reaching, pretty much just said it's doing fine with no problems. It just seems to take longer than anyone else said it would.
Thanks
Necifix
Edit: Depressing enough, I'm "In Production" which isn't even the longer phase, boxing. June 4th is not going to happen. Period. I'm waiting for the postponement notice. I live in the USA.

When did you order, and receive your Order number? You can always try Chat. They seem to be a bit more knowledgeable then Phone Support tends to be at times...
Or, call: 1-800-283-2210, then Option 3, Prompt #2, Prompt #1, then Prompt #1 again. At this point put in Your Order Number & it will give you the latest on your Order Status.
This number is more *thorough* then the 1-800-433-9014. Though, when I have called in the past, it has given me different ESD (dates) lol.
Your order could very well ship on or before the 6/4 date. Dell tends to overestimate that date to protect from delays, etc. : )

Is this normal?
