    Dell Inspiron 1720

    Intel® Core™ 2 Duo T5850 (2.16GHz/667Mhz FSB/2MB cache)

Genuine Windows Vista® Home Premium Edition SP1

2GB Shared Dual Channel DDR2 at 667MHz (plan on upgrading to 4gb on my own)

    256MB NVIDIA® GeForce® 8600M GT
    160GB SATA Hard Drive (5400RPM)

56Whr Lithium Ion Battery (6 cell)

I will mainly use it for college work but when I do play games, I want them to be smooth. That is I am a part time hard core gamer. I mainly play games like Flight Simulator 2004 (not FS X) and Call of Duty 4. I already ordered it I just want to knowif I made a good choice for $774 dollars without tax. Oh I also plan on upgrading the RAM to 4gb.

Well yeah but don't expect things to run at max settings. You'd be able to play decent games but if your on the go id recommend a 9-Cell battery upgrade

I don't expect Cod 4 to be at max but Flight Simulator 2004 should be right? Since it is an old game.
