    Get CompleteCare and LED screen.

See Dell's outlet for good deals.

You might want to bump up the warranty to at least two years.

    Thanks,
    Andrew

funny. He asks if this was a good deal or not and people go "DUDE, get an LED screen. DUDE get a warranty!!!" I guess that's the answer to the question.....

I actually went with the CCFL screen on my m1330 (wasn't worth $300 to me). However, I did get the 3 year Complete Care warranty.

    Thanks,
    Andrew

Yeah, the LED screen really isn't worth $300...plus, I'm a student with a budget, and I can't exactly afford everything :T

But do you guys really think completecare is worth it? I don't think it's worth the extra $200-300...

If you really want to save, as said above take a look at Dell's outlet. Yes, completecare is worth it.

It depends really. If it's mostly going to sit on your desk at home then no it's not worth it. However, if you're going to be carrying it with you five to six days a week (like me) then I think it's worth it.

    Thanks,
    Andrew

What's the condition like on those Dell outlet machines?

I've had a bad experience before buying a refurbished Sony......and the motherboard burned out after only a few months of use...so now I'm scared of refurbished machines...

Yes, I agree. I would pick LED and warranty over CPU and other upgrades.
