    Is this an e1405 or e1505???

    My guess is that it is an E1505, cos there is a black strip in the middle closer to the hinges, it looks like the place where the word Inspiron is written on the E1505. If the black parts are covering DELL logos then it should be E1505. There is no such section on E1405.

    hahaha... good try buddy... There's no way that could be a 17" screen! I agree with the other guys.

    Looking at my e1405, there is a battery where he has all his cords plugged in. Definitely not a 1405!

    Well, I say it's an e1505 but I can't quite rule out the slight possibility that it could perhaps maybe be an e1705.

    Well, it may even be an older model Inspiron. On the e1505, the power cord (if thats whats shown) would be further over to the sides. But that maybe something plugged into USB, I'm not sure.
